Busy, but I still eat!

There is so much happening within the walls of my household that I have not had any time to commit to writing.  I miss it, I truly do.

The most time consuming of that which keeps me busy is the building of even more walls.  I am finishing the remainder of my basement into a small yoga studio.  I gladly use energy to create this space, but lots of energy it does require!  It’s so much fun though.  How often to we get to embark on such lofty projects?  If you’re at all curious, my business partner and I have a blog where we are chronicling the building process.  Feel free to wander over a take a look, and if you’re in the area, attend a class!

In keeping with the theme of this blog though, I remain dedicated to my home.  To offer a small update on the other goings-on, we pulled out the garden this past Saturday, and just in time, too; look at what arrived yesterday morning:

My eyes marvel at the beauty the garden offers:

Sexiest carrot ever!

And this was lunch yesterday:

Olive oil, salt and pepper, crushed garlic cloves and sage leaves.  Cover and bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes, then remove cover and continue to bake until soft, about 15 more minutes.

I am still here and I still love to write, I'm just busy!  Once again, thanks for sticking around and we'll chat again soon.
